Theft of machinery and contract equipment in Knowstone parish

On the night of 1st November a local contractor's equipment shed was broken into and a great deal of kit (strimmers, high pressure washers etc.) was stolen. The shed was secured with padlocks but the thieves still managed to break in. Two other establishments in Knowstone were also victims last night including the pub. 

The police believe that well organised gangs are making journeys to the south west with the aim of stealing as much as they can in one night prior to returning home.
