Funeral of local parishioner to take place on 19th January

The funeral of Bill Norman of Great Wadham Farm will be taking place at Knowstone Parish Church on Friday 19th January at midday. Bill was very involved in the village during his more active years and was instrumental in the building of the current Parish Hall and also gaining funding for the village following the establishment of the North Devon Link Road. He attended last year's Village Fair and opened the Fair along with others who had been involved in the build of the new hall. He leaves behind five children, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Donations can be sent via J. Westcott and Son, South Molton in aid of Macmillan Nurses and RABI, just one of the agricultural charities with which he was involved.
