Police appeal for witnesses to serious collision on A361
The police have appealed for witnesses to a serious collision on the A361. Please see details in their statement below:-
Police were called at 4.20pm on Wednesday 9 October to reports of a two vehicle collision on the A361 at Beaples Barton. Emergency services, including air ambulance, fire and police, attended the collision which involved a Red Honda Jazz and a Blue Vauxhall Corsa. The occupants of the Honda Jazz, a man and woman in their 20s, were both taken to RD&E hospital. The female passenger sustained minor injuries and has been discharged. The male driver, sustained a broken kneecap and toe and remains in hospital awaiting surgery. The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa, a woman in her 40s, sustained multiple serious injuries to her leg, hip and pelvis, she remains in Derriford hospital in a stable condition. Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with any information to contact police on 101 quoting log 555 of 9 October. |
