Full house at the bingo night

On Tuesday 13th December the hall was packed with people praying that they had the lucky numbers and would win one of the ten Christmas dinners on offer or a bottle of wine, some biscuits or even the top prize of a turkey. The bingo caller for the evening was Anthony Vigus ably assisted by Ken Dykes and Mike Devine who were kept busy checking the cards of those who enthusiastically cried 'bingo'. Tea and cake were prepared by Cath Morgan and her helpers and served with a flourish at the interval. The profits were split equally between the Parish Hall and the church with each being given £210 from the proceeds.
