A beautiful day for a trip to Lynmouth
Fourteen passengers joined the Exe Valley Community Bus on Wednesday, 21st June for a trip to Lynmouth -- one of the special “3rd Wednesday” day trips arranged throughout the year.
The trip started with a visit to Woody Bay Heritage Steam Train Station, for a 25-minute round-trip train ride and refreshments at the café. Then on to Lynmouth, where passengers were able to take advantage of a sea breeze on the hottest day of the year so far.
Participants of the trip included residents of Oakford, Loxbere, Calverleigh and Knowstone Parish, and everyone agreed it was a great trip out.
